You did it! The venue is booked, your photographer and videographer are locked in, and the music is sorted. Those are the big, exciting decisions, and you made them yourself. That deserves a real moment of celebration.
And then, maybe over dinner with your mom or a text from your best friend, someone said it: “You know you need at least a wedding coordinator, right?”
If that sentence has been sitting in the back of your mind ever since, this post is for you. Here is what a wedding planner actually does at this stage, and why so many of our couples find us exactly here.
Booking your venue and photographer feels like the finish line, but it is really the starting point for the day itself. Once those pieces are in place, a whole new layer of questions shows up:
The research and the early planning were the fun part, and you were great at it. What you probably do not want is to be the person running the show on the one day you are supposed to be living it.
This is where our Month of Management service comes in. Think of it as handing the day itself to a team who has done this many, many times.
In the weeks leading up to your wedding, we get to know your plans inside and out. We connect with every vendor you have booked, confirm the details, and build a timeline that actually works for your day, not a generic template.
On the wedding day, we are the ones answering the phone, keeping things on schedule, and quietly handling the moments that do not go to plan. Our couples often tell us they never even noticed the hiccups, and that is exactly the point.
Here is the part we care about most. Without a planner, the day-of work does not disappear. It quietly lands on someone you love.
It is your aunt setting out the guest book, your maid of honour texting the DJ during speeches, or your dad hunting down the cake cutter when he should be on the dance floor. These are the people who have been waiting years to celebrate you, and they deserve to be fully present for it.
When we are there, everyone gets to be a guest. That includes you.
Our team will know your day just as well as you do. Our couples mention them in their reviews again and again, usually for a specific moment they will never forget.
We also capture behind-the-scenes content throughout your wedding day: the setup, the quiet moments, the bits you never got to see. Then we send it your way. Many of our couples open it on their honeymoon, and it is one of the things they tell us they loved most!
If your vendors are booked and you are starting to wonder who will hold it all together on the day, this is the perfect time to reach out. We usually recommend connecting at least [X months] before your wedding, so we have plenty of time to get to know your plans and your people.
You have already done the hard part. Now let us take it from here, so you can walk into your wedding day relaxed, present, and completely yourself.
We cannot wait to hear all about it!
Warmly, Jenna
